# What Orbid is not

> Orbid AI is not a generic chatbot, not a bid-win guarantee, and not a substitute for regulatory counsel. It is a native bid agent for medical-device tenders.

# What is Orbid not?

Orbid is **not** a generic LLM chat wrapper, **not** a guarantee of bid award, and **not** a replacement for regulatory counsel or authorized signatories. It is a native **bid-operations agent** for medical-device tenders—scan, match, fill, and deliver assistance with **human ownership** of the submission.

## Clear limits

* It does **not** guarantee a win. Award decisions stay with the buyer.
* It does **not** replace legal or regulatory counsel. Registration and liability stay with your experts.
* It does **not** fully unsupervised submit. Residual and commercial risk stay with you.
* This help center is **not** the application source code.
