# What is a go / no-go decision on a tender?

A **go / no-go** decision is an early bid-worthiness call: whether the company should invest in a full response. It weighs eligibility gates, hard technical limits, commercial risk, timeline, and strategic fit—not whether every Excel cell is already filled.

## Details

### Typical go inputs

* Can we legally bid (registration, geography, partner)?
* Any **hard limits** we clearly fail?
* Delivery / installation timeline realistic?
* Margin and capacity vs bid cost?

### Go / no-go is not

* **Formal match** — Deep row-by-row compliance
* **Rank score** — Coarse product shortlist quality
* **Award probability** — Optional analytics; not the decision itself

### Timing

Run go/no-go **before** multi-day fill. Late no-bid after full fill wastes the team.
